Wishful thinking

Today I would like to be watching old Sinbad movies. You know, the ones with plasticene monsters and genies who wore hareem pants. They occasionally came on telly on Sunday afternoons when I was growing up and I always loved them.

Nostalgia aside, I'd just like to remind everyone that tomorrow is Pancake DayHas anyone ever seen an actual pancake

I rather liked Jason & the Argonauts over Sinbad- I think they really pushed the boat out with the effects on that one.

I have my Netto Batter Mix, some eggs and some lemon juice so I'm all prepared for tomorrow. I'm hopeless in the kitchen, so its easier than making the batter from scratch.

Batter mix? I take your point, but pancake batter is among the easier things to make from scratch in the kitchen. I'm with you on the lemon and sugar though. Anything else is just a bit wrong.

Nutella AND Philadelphia, in little half-teaspoon blobs, all down the middle of the pancake. Oh, yesh.

The two together... a bit much. I can only eat one. And what's the point in making a whole jug full of batter and then only eating one?
