Wishful thinking
Today I would like to be watching old Sinbad movies. You know, the ones with plasticene monsters and genies who wore hareem pants. They occasionally came on telly on Sunday afternoons when I was growing up and I always loved them.
Nostalgia aside, I'd just like to remind everyone that tomorrow is Pancake Day.
Has anyone ever seen an actual pancake race? I would love to organise one, if I could only
a) I could think of a handy street the race could be conducted down
b) I had more than one day to plan and hustle people into attending and bringing frying pans
