We had an enjoyable holiday visit with the in-laws. We got a chance to see our neice Greta, who turned one a couple of weeks ago. Sorry for intruding into your LJ like this, but I just found out that over the last couple of days Livejournal.com has apparently been eating about half of the e-mail directed towards my livejournal address.

Sunday is just fine :-)

Glad you liked it! Oh, and as unusual as this may sound, I'm really looking forward to seeing the grammatical nit-picks. I've been trying to master the wonderful English language for almost two decades now (first at school and after that during countless English literature classes at university), so I have this weird dream of getting everything close to perfect someday*g*
Could you perhaps drop me a little note in my LJ once you've sent me the beta-read version? For some reason my e-mail problems are still continuing, and if I spot a note from you I at least have a sure way of knowing that I should>/i> have received something...
Have a nice weekend :-)

I just dropped by to let you know the revised version of "Servants of the People" is now online at the Teaspoon and dwfiction.
Hopefully the transition from exposition to Meladka's POV is working better now than it did in the first draft version...
Tinkering with that part of the text nearly drove me crazy, so I finally gave up and went for the minimum solution.
And while I've already said it before, I'll say it again: Lots of thanks for the beta-read. You did a really great job :-)
