Post-Christmas "Shopping" (& Eating)
I'm feeling kind of pleased with myself that I didn't buy anything when we went out today when we were at Garden City, but at the same time, a little disappointed... lol. Still, it's probably all for the best, as I wasn't able to find anything I wanted to get; I could have gotten my sister the last Harry Potter book, though, but I might save that for her birthday next month.
Meanwhile, another day, another restaurant--this time we ate at the the Little Singapore restaurant in Sunnybank. The food is, as always, excellent, although parking in the area sucks severely. Afterwards, we went to this little mini-mart to get some vegetables for mum. Also, we looked at some of the strange products they sold, and even picked up some strange canned drinks, as seems to be the thing mum and my sister do. I couldn't resist picking up a yellow can of what appears to be a vitamin c-rich drink, with the unfortunate title of "P"... I'm hoping it tastes better than it sounds. lol.
