I spent a fair amount of time (well, for me) just drilling lines today; and as confident as I am that I know the overall gist of my monologues, I keep stumbling over the same parts. :-/ Hopefully I'll be secure enough in them by tomorrow afternoon. I know them mostly, but my tongue apparently doesn't (and my brain from time to time, which just blanks out on bits I should know). lol. My throat is a bit sore from practicing this evening, so I'll have to warm up sufficiently before the audition tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I spent some time watching episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist my sister borrowed from Blockbuster. It's about Edward Elric, the land's youngest state alchemist, who tried to resurrect his mother with his younger brother, Alphonse, as a kid. Unfortunately, the first law of alchemy states that the transmutation process requires an equal portion must be consumed to create, and the subsequent accident caused the loss of Ed's right arm and left leg, and resulted in Al's soul being grafted to a suit of armour after his body was destroyed. Ed now has "automail" limbs grafted to his body as both search for a way to restore their bodies. Weird stuff; apparently the manga differs greatly from the anime, too.
Anyhow--must sleep and prepare for tomorrow! *frets*
