so last night i decided i was going to copy the entire CD set for "great pianists of the 20th century." as of today, it is the largest CD project ever to be undertaken. it is a 200 CD set and as of now, i currently have 14 (i think). in this set, there is a 2-CD set for every "album" by a pianist (there are sometimes multiple albums by pianists). as of now, i have "albums" by these pianists: Martha Argerich (two), Van Cliburn, Wilhelm Kempff, Steven Kovacevich, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Andre Watts.
i am at the library right now, copying clarinet CDs and plan to get about five more "albums" from the set (ten CDs).
*Update*
i just got five more of the albums from that set. they are of Edwin Fischer, Josef Hofmann, Grigory Ginsburg, Emil Giels, and Vladimir Horowitz.
i'm a nerd.
