School started back for me yesterday, they're touting it as a workshop and not really the semester but, guess what?  We're there, doing objectives and taking notes and tests and such so in my eyes-we've started.

My presentation went well, I found it amusing that while I was up there talking, making sure I sounded competent and knowledgable, the professors were busy checking out my shoes.  I wore a suit and pearls and everything but of course they had to focus in on the one semi wild detail I threw in for my own enjoyment.  Crabby buzzards.

Today I had to get up at 5:30 in order to be at school by 7:45 and then I got on the road and turned right back around.  We'd received an email from our director stating if it was still at freezing this morning and you felt unsafe to skip Grand Rounds and just come to class at 9:30.  This is what I am doing, at the time I left my only option would ( Read more... )
