More rambling

This week I have been quite ill. I was feverish at one point and just stayed in bed shaking for quite a while. There was talk of glandular fever, although I seem to better now so hopefully that is not the case.

I went to lost property a couple of times this week, and there is still no sign of my coat.

On Thursday I dosed myself up on flu medication and went to see Graham Coxon and Duels. It was good and surprisingly rocking. I saw Michael Eavis in the crowd too. I wanted to go talk to him afterwards but as everyone left I lost sight of him.

Yesterday was the last day of term so we went to see Hostel and then for a curry. I didn't like Hostel. The first 30 minutes were ridiculous, and basically porn at times, and the feminist inside me was getting pissed off. The dialogue was terrible too. While the film was quite bloody, I didn't think it was as gory as it could have been. It was that annoying midpoint where it's not subtle but it's not obvious either. However, the actual premise behind the murderer was good, and the end scene in the train station toilet was quite good as it wasn't an obvious ending.

Today everyone who hasn't paid Easter rent gets kicked out of halls. Only 2 other people on my corridor have paid to stay, and they are both going home anyway! I am not going home. I would like to go back to London, I was getting upset watching the Apprentice the other day as the shots of London look so nice. The only problem with that plan is that I have to live at home, and that would be rubbish. I like my own little life up here, with no one telling me what time I have to go to bed.

I have a job interview on Monday, it's for agency work, and the woman sounded quite enthusiastic over the phone so I hope I will start something soon.
