state finals...maybe next year 20-28
i purchased and set up my new dvd recorder in less than an hour (ok i had to call tech support once....which will be a separate entry). AND successfully recorded the semi-final game, but the little lions will have to wait til next year to make it to state finals. they gave away a touchdown by not downing the ball (though they say the ref blew his whistle on the ball stopping right before the other guy swooped in and surprised the hell out of everyone to run the ball in for the td).
j, due to a broken collarbone and 115 kids on the team, never got one play on varsity, and only 3 snaps on jv (which went undefeated). yet he rarely complained, and attended every practice.
while we want our kids to win, it's really the losses and how we handle them that teach all of us the most.
