I was driving my car to work today like I was driving in Beijing. I actually didn't drive in Beijing. In fact, you may not rent a car in China unless you have a Chinese driver--which makes total sense once you get on any street anywhere in China. Things are freaky as it is--don't need to add in American/European/Western drivers into the mix that would jack everything up.
Anyway, I had to remind myself to stop behaving so erratically. I didn't do anything over-the-top like play chicken with oncoming traffic, but I sure wasn't being anything close to mellow this morning.
I'm too exhausted to go on a rant about traffic right now (lucky you) but I will say the whole "Share the road, man!!" Critical Mass jerkwads should really go to China to see what sharing the road actually means.
