last chance to say whatever i want on here for the next month because in 6 hours i'm leaving campus and will not return until the 26th...
one: I HATE FLYING WHY DO I HAVE TO TAKE A PLANE TO AUSTRALIA CAN'T A RIDE A TRAIN OR DRIVE A CAR OR SOMETHING AAAAGGGGHHH my sleeping pills had BETTER WORK.
two: i sent sean a message. a long one. it may have been dumb. but i feel like it was the right thing to do. maybe he'll just be mean to me again or make fun of me to others, but i feel like what i said was accurate and appropriate. oh well i'll be on the other side of the world for 3 1/2 weeks so it doesn't matter until i come back..
three: i already miss my family. i loved this break just because it's the longest i've been home since summer and i've really missed my mom and sister. my sister is growing up and i can tell every time i come home. it's scary. she likes a boy and she's never truly liked a boy like this before. i want her to be comfortable with herself and take the plunge regardless of the consequences because no matter what the outcome of it is, she deserves a guy that makes her as excited and fluttery as she says this one does, even if only for a little while. and my mom and i get closer all the time, if that's possible. she's my rock, and i think more and more that i'm hers as well. it's weird that one day i'll be crying on her shoulder, and the next day, she will literally be crying on mine. i love my family more than i can describe, and this break has really shown that to me.
four: my friends rock. getting to know new friends rocks. i'm glad i got to hang out with my oldest friends, as well as people that i've only met or seen a few times before. i had a great time with everyone and i feel fulfilled as far as hanging out over break goes, even though i rarely went out and mostly bummed around, swam, or shopped for australia.
i hope everyone has had a great start to their new year. i'm kickin it off with an australian summer, so once i get over how freaking nervous i am about it, in two days i will be on the other side of the world. wow. okay.
