Yay for the plot breakthrough, the writers group meeting, and all that great stuff! 37K -- holy cow!

Not so much yay for the shoveling. :)

I really did get a lot written today, and I'm pretty psyched about most of it.

Shoveling's fine. The snow is nice and light, so we cleared the driveway in about half an hour. Poor Theo's little toes were so cold when we came in, though!

Missed you all yesterday...let's hope for better weather next time.

I managed to turn a novel idea into a short story idea today so that was...uhm, good :-)

Yeah, good!

Also...weird?

Actually, I've been meaning to ask. Do you ever think about novels, maybe writing one?

I do think about writing novels and would like to, very much. But I am not the most prolific writer in the word and I don't want to lose momentum on short story writing while writing a novel (been there, done that) so I am approaching with caution.

Has she discovered the wonders of multimodular origami yet? Requires a longer attention span, but very nice and geometric, if you're a pattern-y kind of person.

Ooh, those are cool. Her creations yesterday were a piano and chair, a table and four chairs, and another microscopic crane. Need to go to Blick to get her more paper.

Mmm, peppermint hot chocolate. Sounds idyllic... Congratulations on getting so much writing done!

Thanks, Steph!

Peppermint hot cocoa is truly nrrrm. Especially now that winter has *finally* arrived. This morning it was MINUS TWO with a -14 windchill. C-c-cold.
