This was maybe the worst part of the book for me. Really JKR? REALLY? You just made rendered-fluffy-by-the-love-of-a-good-woman!Snape canon. Shoot me in the face. Snape is NOT, i repeat, NOT like that. That whole Lily thing was way out of left field for these books.

Lupin died the worst death imaginable. Not only did his death get nothing but a passing mention... WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW HE DIED! He was a really important character and JKR treated his end like shit. Also, she lumped him in with that hideous Tonks person. Well, at least she died. Fanon can choose to only resurrect one.
Dumbledore, your stupid plan, like all your other stupid plans, still made no sense. Also, the Deathly Hallows really didn't factor in at all?
And the one thing I was saying after HBP was: Finally we won't have one of those stupid Harry/Dumbledore talks at the end of the book that explains things in a cheap, cop-out sorta way. But never say never, because what did JKR do... she put in a stupid, cheap, cop-out conversation. With them in limbo too. What a shock and a dismay. I felt like the book plummeted from there to a point of no return.

She stole that bit straight from LOTR. No really. I was expecting Frodo to pop up any minute. And also a whole lot of Nazi Germany in there as well. JKR clearly not using her own material anymore.
In the context of the entire book though, it's not that bad with the exception of the kids' names. Actually, it's pretty much just "Albus Severus" that ruined everything. If you're going to name a kid Albus Severus, at the very least name the other kids Romulus or Augustus or something so it doesn't stand out. The incongruity is worse than the name itself.
Ginny clearly had no choice in the naming of the children.
