Went to the microeconomics review this morning. Interesting stuff:
~ Blaine saying "Jim, you are pretty." (taken out of context)
~ Yay for three-and-a-half-hour long classes, and yay for trying to cover an entire curriculum in said three and a half hours.
~ The government is the only entity allowed to have a natural monopoly because the government has to answer to the PEOPLE, so the monopoly will belong to the PEOPLE, so it will be an economic DICTATORSHIP OF THE PROLETARIAT! [/Commie moment]
~ Blaine led a secret double life as a cheap Asian.
~ The quality of toilet paper is VERY important.
~ Potatoes are also VERY important.
~ The irony of ironies: Blaine can't stand Taco Bell.
~ Yay for sexy linear curves that are secretly not linear.
~ Blaine: "Ok, what's this stage that comes after stages 1 and 2, and don't you dare say stage 3!" Everyone: "Uh, stage 3?"
~ Teh War of Attrition between Teh Economists and Teh Accountants. Analgodsexallah help you if you double major in these two.
~ Blaine's speech about testing strategies, which can be paraphrased to: "Guess what? You guys are gonna look at the free response section, and you'll want to burst out crying because you won't know anything. At all. But that's okay! Just BS through it!"
After eco, I didn't have a class until 2:40, so I went home and napped until about 2:15. I am that sleep-deprived. Lol TAKS week might actually help me catch up on sleep if I a)stopped going to sleep at around 2:30, cancelling out the effect of sleeping in; b) didn't have eco reviews at 8:30 in the morning; and c)didn't procrastinate so I don't have to get up earlier in the morning to do homework, cutting into my sleeping-in time. *sigh* I'm a bad person.
In other news, Kim and I were surprising successful at choreographing a non-Kindergarten-ish dance to this:
Sail around the world and tell them all to keep singing it
la la la la la la
All we needs a harmony and we’ll convince the world to sing
la la la la la la
Throw your arms around someone (throw your arms around someone)
Maybe spread a little love
I know it sounds a little dumb (or maybe I’m a little drunk)
But all we need is some ice cream and a hug.
sleep,
classes,
teachers,
