My Papaw does have prostate cancer.  He will begin radiation treatment in Feb.  I really don't know as much as I would like to know about his treatment, but that is because I'm here and they are down in GA ( Read more... )

I'm still alive....got family visiting so my time is busy.  Nana and Papaw are here.  It's been fun.

Our day started early.  We were up around 7am.  We all got dressed and went to take Ethan to Karate.  I had got the times mixed up and we were early, so we ran by McDonald's and picked up some breakfast.  We drove thru and ate in the car.  Ethan affectionately calls it a "car picnic".

Ethan's school had their Holiday program today. It was cute. They sang lots of songs and it was sweet. Afterwards the class had their party...which was a bit lame. I talked to mama for a minute last night. She's really having a tough time breathing. They are running millions of tests, chest x-rays etc. Daddy told me that her iron level was extremely low and may warrant extra blood. Her blood sugar was low as well...34. Scary low.
