As she had told the other before, she would be present for the duel. Cissnei had been to one or two that had taken place on the island before, but this time instead of admiring the graphics and paying attention to the people, she had intended to watch more of the strategy and the game itself. After all, she had a few teachers in learning how to play Duel Monsters now.

How quickly it had come and gone seemed ... Strange to her. The others seemed shocked about it- Cissnei just confused . '...Was that even in the rules?'

One of the others around might be able to noticed the puzzled look on her face.

Yuugi had been there, as well. Of course, how could he miss it? It was a duel between his other self and his best friend. It should have been glorious, right ( ... )

Once he was done just standing on the battlefield he turned to the others that seemed to have come. He wasn't sure of when, but he'd been so absorbed by things that that only made sense to him. His body was tight with adrenaline as he moved over to them.

"Sorry. That's not the way things should have went." Apologizing to a new Duelist- Cissnei. She should have witnessed an hour long duel or something. One turn... Even if he thought it was amazing himself, she probably wasn't very interested.

And he smiled at Yuugi. "You're probably pretty disappointed too." One turn. Just one turn. He almost couldn't believe it himself now that the duel was over.

Once the duel had ended, he quietly walked toward Yuugi and Cissnei. He'd noticed Kaiba was here. Awesome. This was probably going to end up on the Network so that Kaiba could gloat and mock him. It's not like he could beat Atem in a duel, either.

"Heya, Yuug." He greeted his best friend casually, though eye contact may have been avoieded. To Cissnei he offered an introductory nod. "Yo."

Did he really summon a bunch of monsters in one turn? Well, there were weirder things to happen in the game right? Maybe, she still was just getting the hang of it. She greets the others with a nod, Joey included. Interested or not as she may of been, they all acted like it was something important, so it likely was. She slightly wished she better understood what kind of milestone she had witnessed... ah, well.

"Disappointed? Not really." The woman half shrugged all the same. "Just unexpected for seeing one of my first duels, really."

Flashy? Yes. But that was to be expected of using technology Kaiba created. Briefly she turns to Joey, extending her hand. "Cissnei, I don't think we've met."

Cissnei should have seen a duel that lasted at least three episodes a good amount of time. Regardless, it was over and done with... Yuugi glanced up at Atem as he came over, and smiled, though it was... well, he wasn't sure.

He was impressed, and that was obvious. But he couldn't adequately show it, with Jounouchi there. Again, he felt guilty for wanting to praise Atem but... they both meant so much to him.

"That was really awesome, mou hitori no boku." He stated, instead, giving a light shake of his head. "I'm not disappointed. You were amazing! Just... I'm a bit surprised that it turned out like that." Things happened for a reason, and if his deck wanted him to do that... then that was how it happened. But he could never be disappointed in his other.

Then Jounouchi walked over, and Yuugi's smile nearly all but faded away. "Jounouchi-kun..." He didn't know what to say, initially, so instead he reached his hand out to gently set it on his best friend's arm.

He gave a nod to Jounouchi as he approached. "It would have been a good duel. And we will duel again, later." A few weeks a month, whatever. As long as a lapse in time Jounouchi wanted.

He just hoped the other duelist didn't feel too bad about it. It couldn't have been avoided. If he'd drawn that opening hand with anyone he would have played it no matter what.
