...and indeed, it was glorious.. on Atem's half. He was excited for him, amazed at the lucky hand he drew. On Jounouchi's half, it was disappointing. It was like he didn't even get a chance to do anything.
He felt guilty for being happy for Atem, and yet he felt like he shouldn't feel bad for Jou, either. He knew his best friend was an amazing duelist. They both were.
Yuugi's eyes widened as the final move was played and, just like that, the duel was over. He stood on the sidelines by Cissnei, probably looking as bewildered as she was. Though, when he caught her expression out of the corner of his eye, he smiled up at her slightly before glancing back to them.
"I've never seen this happen before." He stated softly, unable to keep the admiration from his voice, despite the conflict he felt. Who was he supposed to cheer for, anyway? He toyed with his necklace, trying to still his own beating heart. There was... something about seeing those cards played, and the way that Atem presented them.. the adrenaline was contagious, and for a moment he knew what Atem must have felt, and remembered how it felt, and it was almost like they had that shared link between them.
"If anyone could ever pull something like this off, it's Atem-kun."

"Sorry. That's not the way things should have went." Apologizing to a new Duelist- Cissnei. She should have witnessed an hour long duel or something. One turn... Even if he thought it was amazing himself, she probably wasn't very interested.
And he smiled at Yuugi. "You're probably pretty disappointed too." One turn. Just one turn. He almost couldn't believe it himself now that the duel was over.

"Heya, Yuug." He greeted his best friend casually, though eye contact may have been avoieded. To Cissnei he offered an introductory nod. "Yo."

"Disappointed? Not really." The woman half shrugged all the same. "Just unexpected for seeing one of my first duels, really."
Flashy? Yes. But that was to be expected of using technology Kaiba created. Briefly she turns to Joey, extending her hand. "Cissnei, I don't think we've met."

He was impressed, and that was obvious. But he couldn't adequately show it, with Jounouchi there. Again, he felt guilty for wanting to praise Atem but... they both meant so much to him.
"That was really awesome, mou hitori no boku." He stated, instead, giving a light shake of his head. "I'm not disappointed. You were amazing! Just... I'm a bit surprised that it turned out like that." Things happened for a reason, and if his deck wanted him to do that... then that was how it happened. But he could never be disappointed in his other.
Then Jounouchi walked over, and Yuugi's smile nearly all but faded away. "Jounouchi-kun..." He didn't know what to say, initially, so instead he reached his hand out to gently set it on his best friend's arm.

He just hoped the other duelist didn't feel too bad about it. It couldn't have been avoided. If he'd drawn that opening hand with anyone he would have played it no matter what.
