She had no idea what to make of this. She blinked and they were in his room, which she had seen before when she was showing him around. She felt jumpy and edgy and she realized that it was based off of the nightmare. If she was honest with herself, and she usually was, it scared her all the more because it could actually happen. Maybe not on Salkia, but in the Feudal Era or even in her Era...Naraku could win and kill everyone she ever knew.

She shakes her head tiredly as she sits on Sesshomaru's bed and covers her eyes with her hands. It had been a long week and she slept little and since the nightmares had left, she had slept even less. Now everything seemed off. Sesshomaru was the one comforting her, Inuyasha wasn't there and Kikyou had made her feel like a fool. She knew that it was an illusion but it didn't make it any better because if Naraku won, it could become a reality. She sighed as she curled up into a ball because what was she suppose to do now?

Sesshomaru watched her, sensing the changes in her aura. Looking at her now, he was convinced that he had taken the right step in bringing her here. Left to her own devices or to someone who had suffered the same way she did--she would never heal.

He placed his hand on her head. "Kagome."

She felt so confused. She knew that she had slept on him..SLEPT on him and she shouldn't have felt as comfortable with him as she did. Wasn't the last time she saw him, he was attacking Inuyasha once again? She sighed with tiredness and couldn't figure anything out. He had mentioned a young girl and although she never met her, she was sure that Sesshomaru wouldn't lie about such a thing. He was cruel and he hated humans so why would he lie about having one follow him?

She sighed as she felt his hand on her head. She took a few breaths to tried to calm herself. Its been like this for the past few days where she would calm down but then the images would pop back in her head. She wasn't sure what to make of Sesshomaru either. He made her feel safe and that was confusing her too. What was going on with her?

He could feel the changes in her aura as she sat there. Once again, her emotions were all over the place, but mostly up and down. He looked at her, as close to concerned as he could be, wondering what she was thinking.

She forced herself to calm down. She happened to glance at him and realize that something that's been nagging her suddenly made sense. The Tokijin sword was gone! The Tenseiga was the only sword that she could see by his side.

"Where's the Tokijin?"

The sudden question surprised Sesshomaru. "Gone," he answered simply, not wishing to give her too many details if she was a Kagome of his past.

She blinked at the quick question and almost smiled. That kind of short answer was what she expected from Sesshomaru. "Well...where did it go?" She was enjoying her time with him and that confused her like no other. She sighed and started rubbing her temples. She was a strong woman, she knew that. You couldn't see things that she's seen and not be strong but right now she felt weak and that bothered her.

Sesshomaru watched a moment as she began to rub her head. "Are you having a vision?" Yes, he ignored the question.

Kagome sighed and smiled. "No not at all. I may be a Priestess but not that good." She didn't even notice.

"Something from your...experience?" Using the word "nightmare" seemed wrong to him at this point.

She sighed as she stopped rubbing her temples and glanced up at him. "I don't know why its affecting me so much. I guess its just because now if he wins...I've seen what happened. I think its knowing what might actually happens that scares me." She can't believe that she just blabbed all of that to Sesshomaru!

After a few seconds she glanced up. "Right! We'll just have to defeat him then!" She said as she smiled and she would do everything she could to make sure that her...dream never happens.

Sesshomaru found her choice of words interesting. "We" will have to defeat him. He didn't know if she was including him in that statement, but he did have his own vendetta against Naraku.

"Agreed."

She sighs again but she feels better. Her dream was scary but it'll never happen! She'll make sure of it.

She was still surprised by the demon but she knew that he wouldn't hurt her. He even promised to protect her. She was still having a hard time wrapping her mind around it. Did the girl that he talked about really change him that much...she suddenly found that she didn't care. She was still very tired. She wraps her arms around her knees and lays her head on top of her knees. She sighs and slowly she relaxes. Although she's almost tempted to crawl back on Sesshomaru, she has too much dignity to actually do so. She wonders if she should go to his roommate's room.

Almost as though he's reading her thoughts, Sesshomaru told her, "I do not know when my roommate will arrive. However, it might be a shock when he discovers you in his bed." He shook his head. "I have no need for this bed. You may rest here."

She almost flinched and stared up at him. She smiled at him and realized that it made sense. For a second, she thought to offer for him to take her back to her apartment, after all Ichigo was there but she figured he would probably refuse.

"I understand." She said as she curled up even more. She knew that she laid...on him by the lake but for some reason she was too embarrassed to do it now. "What are you going to do?" She can't help but to ask.

He watched as she kept curling into a tighter ball. She had seemed to be relaxing, yet her emotions were still somewhat out of control--the hand on her head no longer having a relaxing effect. He answered her question simply.

"Protect you."
