Atem had been there since six at the very least. It wasn't too often that he'd come into work so early, but he wanted to get things done so that he could possibly skip out. Other things were on his mind, such as keeping a close eye on the NETWORK, keeping a close eye on his friends, and looking for Larxene. Moving the rest of his things from the apartment into Usagi's home was also something he needed to do.
He had no idea what time it was when he finally seated himself behind the cash register, forgotten pen behind his ear, tallying up the short morning's sales. When was lunch break again? ...or better question yet, when was an acceptable time to leave? He still wanted to get paid for his work, but was starting to worry that with missed days and leaving too soon he might not. So he had to watch himself.
