C.C. was still freshly sprung into this place, and wandered in it with blank yellow eyes, skirts damp and dripping water, her hair a damp emerald sheet down her back and her baggage wet as well.
Cheese-kun dangled covered in sand in the crook of her left arm as she wandered about the surrounding area, amused.

"..Now where's the Pizza Hut?"

Atem heard the question, though it nearly didn't penetrate the haze of his rest. But he knew it would be rude to ignore someone if they were speaking to him so he roused himself, blinking open his eyes to clear the fog away.

Leaning back up he looked at the girl. She was soaking, it seemed and he had to arch an eyebrow to that, at least. "You're going to catch cold if you go around like that." It was freezing- perhaps not in the mall, but outside.

The witch turned her head slowly, staring at the boy with a raised eyebrow. She had just been talking aloud and hadn't expected a reply, let alone a well-kept person.

"Not much choice considering the entrance I was forced to make." She said cooly, dusting off her skirts.

"And my suitcase is soaked so any clothes I have are in the same condition. Have any other suggestions?"

"Go home and dry off?" He offered. There were appliances in the places, there must have been one of those driers and some towels in the homes.

"It's much more sensible mulling around here and looking for - ... Whatever it is you are looking for." He hadn't quite caught her question, or perhaps it was that he didn't understand what a "Pizza Hut" was.

Thanks to Kaiba breaking her L337pod Usagi had to go to the Fix-It shop to get it fixed. While it meant she was going to be out of the loop from the NETWORK it...was sort of worth it. Talking to Ya--Atem, was...interesting and it felt good. There was a weight lifted off her chest speaking to him about how Kaiba felt, or at least what she thought Kaiba felt towards him. Too bad the jerk had to interrupt me... The blonde thought before a sigh slipped through her lips.

She knew there was something up...or maybe she was over reacting but, were there...less people out these days than ever? Not to mention Cissnei, her roommate, was no where to be found. They could've gone home.. The thought passed through her head as she walked out of another store in the mall with nothing in her hands. Shopping always cheered her up, but she wasn't really able to enjoy herself...not to mention she still had a few more people on her list to shop for ( ... )

Atem lifted his head once more, not quite as asleep as he had been previously- but it was because someone called him by name. A right name; that was a rarity here. It was either Yuugi, or Yami and none of those felt right. He used to go by Yuugi. But they were separate now, and he was feeling that separation rather deeply.

He sat up straight, giving the girl a look, trying to piece together who she was. She seemed familiar, and he thought they may have spoken on the NETWORK before, at least. "Yes?"

Nervousness began to creep in though it instantly disappeared when he replied to her. So it was him! A smile came upon her lips as she looked him over for a moment before bowing to him. It was either bow or scare the poor guy by trying to hug him. While she did consider them something more or less along the lines of being friends she had to remember, he didn't ...remember being on Salkia.

"I'm Usagi...we spoke briefly before? ....Before..." her smile turned sheepish.

"Before Kaiba decided to break my l337pod."

When she bowed he quickly stood to return it, not really in the mood to be rude to anyone. The name brought a soft look of concern across his face, but he pushed passed it with a smile rather quickly. "Ah, Usagi, it's nice to see you in person."

He didn't want to hear anything about Kaiba, and immediately scowled. "Yes, I am sorry that he did that. If it makes you feel better, I dueled him and he lost." Suddenly that felt like a victory for naught though- it didn't matter anymore.

[OOC: Haha I mean yep (is a dope)! I prefer separate threads anyway XD]

The hand startled him a little, a small jump before he regained control of himself. He was too on edge, people getting stolen and Kaiba sitting somewhere brooding. He scoffed to himself, there was no need to think about that now.

He looked up, seeing the young man though it took him a moment to put the pieces together. The look on his face puzzled, brows knit together; then he nodded to himself, and smiled up at him. "Mm, yes, thank you for your concern, Lelouch." He wasn't, but that was nobody's business but his own, much less did he want to burden someone he barely knew.

"You are not disturbing me, it is not as if I was doing something important." No, he was sleeping on a bench in the mall like some homeless person. He grimaced when he realized the image he was putting on, but he didn't really feel like doing anything different right now. Though he did smirk. "I really wouldn't mind some mischief; at least then perhaps I'd know who's behind all of these strange goings on."

He thought Lelouch meant the disappearances, and he had nothing but time on his hands now. But he was above looking for trouble. Perhaps that was what this had been, him waiting for it to come to him.

He sighed softly at the mention of Kaiba, but put a smile on. "It went exactly the way I said it would. I defeated him." But it felt hollow now, with nothing to back up his victory.
