Who: Cissnei and Pidgeot, Open What: After spending the morning checking the Barrier out, Cissnei returns to the Town...In style. When: Late Afternoon Where Salkia Town; Main Street
Usagi swore the minute she left her Teddiursa alone it was off trying to snatch a piece of food. Even though she kept feeding it the little bear's appetite was never satisfied. In fact...it oddly reminded herself of her, when she was younger and could inhale everything and anything. Right now she hoped the little pokeman hadn't inhaled the bag of groceries she had asked it to carry.
"Teddiursa!" The blonde called out, looking around for her pokemon. Little did she know the little bear was trotting happily down Main street with a little bag full of apples in its paws. It's little plan of eating the entire bag came to a halt when it saw the huge Pidgeot there.
Cissnei was on the other side of Pidgeot, and the woman looked over the bird pokemon at the little bear, raising an eyebrow at it. Were these things out in the wild now? No, couldn't be, it look like it had somebody's shopping bag...
Pidgeot shifted and peered down at the Teddiursa, getting close to it. "Geot!" It cried, eye to eye with the little bear.
Teddiursa's black eyes widened seeing the Pidgeot getting so close to it. The little bear dropped the bag of apples, quickly running back to its owner. "Teddi! Tedddiiiii!!" she cried, running straight into Usagi, hiding behind her legs.
"E-eh? What's wrong?" Usagi asked, unsure of what was going on. She looked at her scared pokemon to the giant bird nearby. The little bear stuck its paw out at Cissnei and her pokemon rambling on in its language in an accusing tone. Better to have the blame fall on someone else than it. And just to make it more credible....the little bear gave Usagi the saddest puppy eyes she had ever seen.
"E-eeh....T-teddi..." she gulped before looking at Cissnei. "I'm sorry if Teddiursa bothered you--...Cissnei-san?" Usagi asked, unsure if the person before her was the same one she spoke to briefly on the NETWORK.
Cissnei strolled around Pidgeot to get a better look, spotting the blond girl that the small bear had run and hid behind and raising a brow. She had spoken to her once or twice, she believed on the NETWORK, and often saw her on Kaiba's post when she cared to skim over them.
Ignoring Usagi's pokemon's chattering, the older woman nodded, folding her arms at the elbows as she usually did. "It's alright, I do believe he was scared by..." She motioned toward Pidgeot briefly. "Miss. Usagi, correct?"
Usagi reached behind her to pet Teddiursa on the head to calm it down. The pokemon began to stop its chattering in favor of watching what would happen, though it kept its eyes on Pidgeot.
"In all honesty who wouldn't...be?" the blonde replied. Blue eyes blinked in surprise. So Cissnei remembered her? She eagerly nodded her head.
"Yup, that's me. Though no need for the 'Miss' part. It's so great to finally meet you in person, Cissinei-san," Usagi chirped, giving the older woman a quick bow.
"He's not intimating." She replied after a moment, a small smirk of a smile crossing her face. "Quite well behaved, actually."
"Usagi, then." She corrected herself, nodding as the other gave the bow. "You as well...I'm surprised we haven't met earlier, considering how long we have both been here."
"Well...to you...to me? And to Teddiursa...he is..." The blonde replied sheepishly, turning around for a moment to pick up her little bear pokemon to hold in her arms. The pokemon didn't protest.
"I know...but that's more than likely my fault. I'm...a bit oblivious at times," she explained, letting out a sheepish laugh. More like all the time...at least that's what Rei-chan would say.
Cissnei actually recognized Usagi a little more now...mostly as that girl Kaiba complained annoyed him when they lived together. That, however, she would not bring up.
Cissnei waved off her admittance. She was busy most of the time as well, if not with her own brand of things going on then watching over the island. "Pleased to meet you all the same."
Pidgeot finally wandered over, it's talons clicking on the street as it stood behind Cissnei, almost as tall as the woman herself. (Though, being 5'3, Cissnei wasn't very tall.) "Pidgeot!"
Seeing the Pidgeot come closer both trainer and pokemon stiffened. Teddiursa clung more to the blonde and she gulped. Everything and everyone was always taller than her. Just once she wanted to be the tall one--excluding pokemon and any other animals--but with her 5'1'' stature that...was impossible.
"What have you been up to Cissnei-san?" she asked, trying hard to not take a step back.
She had to keep back a bit of a smirk, instead turning around to raise a hand to rub Pidgeot's beak for a moment, then pulled the pokeball out of her pocket and recalled the animal.
"I was up on the mountain, checking the barrier." She replied after she had turned back, a gloved hand slipping the pokeball back into her pocket. Handy little thing that it shrunk.
Usagi calmed down more seeing the Pidgeot was recalled back into its pokeball. Teddiursa moved its head a little to see the big bird was gone too. She began to wiggle out of Usagi's arms to which the blonde complied. The little bear scrambled over to the bag of apples still on the ground, scooping up the fruit into the bag except for one that it happy munched on.
Usagi let out a small chuckle at her pokemon, watching it happily eat the fruit she had bought for it. As long as she's not causing any trouble... Her attention went back to Cissnei.
"Oh..the barrier. I'm guessing no luck with trying to break it..." she commented softly. "But other than that, anything else? " she inquired innocently.
Cissnei watched the scene with a little interest, most of her thoughts inward on herself until Usagi spoke again. While the others voice was soft, Cissnei's remained in her usual tone. "No. Kaiba came to the conclusion that it can't be broken by what we have here now." She told the other, shifting back and folding her arms at the elbow.
Inwardly, the redhead wondered why the blond seem interested in what was going on, but perhaps it was just idle chitchat. Something she was never good with. "Mmm, working. Keeping an eye on things. The usual."
