The holidays has so far been alright. I've got no plans to travel, just taking each day as it comes and just do whatever i feel like doing. We watched white noise last night even though i was a bit apprehensive. No, i am usually not that afraid of thrillers of horror movies. Just that sometime next month, Ivan will be travelling to Mel and i'll be left alone at home. So, i don't wanna be reminded of weird sounds or whatsoever. Thankfully, the movie wasn't as frightening as i thought it would be. We slept pretty late last night and i had the pleasure of sleeping in till the afternoon, and it was great!
The weather today sucked though, dark and gloomy clouds hovered the sky. Headed to the gym in the afternoon, did a bit of cardio then headed back home. I hate having to plan ahead for dinner. Due to the outrageously expensive food here, and the low budget we have, its wiser to cook at home. We haven't been to the supermarket recently so our fridge is quite empty so we'll have to make do with whatever we have in the fridge till the next supermarket trip. So i suggested Tom Yum Soup. Just dump whatever into the soup and cook some rice. Simple and easy. In the end, we cooked porridge instead. Had a really hearty dinner but being winter and having super metabolism, i was hungry in about 2 hours time. I was totally craving for chocolates too. Fortunately i stocked up on my chocolates last week so hehe, i grabbed a mini bar and happily chomped on it while watching tv. I then had a slice of warm chocolate cake topped with vanilla ice-cream at 12am. Tell me, how can i not get fat, and why am i wasting my money on my membership at the gym. Anyway, it's 2am now, and i can feel the hunger pangs slowly creeping up. Shall not think about it.
Received a nice massage from Ivan today, with massage oil, aromatherapy (eucalyptas and lavender) and soothing music. Damn shiok! I've only been to 2 massage sessions (apart from the ones at Thailand). Once in singapore during the last holidays and another one here in Brisbane last year. I totally enjoyed both times and i sweared that if i started working, i would make it a monthly affair. It's actually quite affordable, i paid only $40 for the session in Singapore.
Tomorrow's going to be a busy day!
