Today, I finally found myself wondering about something I should've thought about so much earlier: What is it exactly that attracts me, and other perves like me, to older men? Is it truly an age-thing? Do we really like older men because they are older? Or is it because what they, what their age, represent? To me, I guess an older man represents

Hey, it's my birthday on saturday, and I'll be 27. I guess I am slowly moving my way to no longer being a boy by your standards ;)

But could it just be that you are not attracted to the actual biological age, but more that you find your peers childish and value mature behaviour?

Also, of the 4 men you mentioned, I also notice a recurring charismatic gruffiness, maybe thats what you're attracted to. A presence more than an appearance.

So basically you shouldn't look at age as the refining point but more that you value some characteristics not commonly found in people without a certain life experience.

It is very true what you say! And there are no reasons for feeling pervish about it ... although I do too. :P As for me I'm just NOT attracted to guys my age and that's a fact. Seriously, I can't possibly get attracted to guys who aren't older than me. And at least ten years. Shit it looks strange when I type it all out. but it is oh so true. Take my kendo teacher for example, he could've been my father, and still I CAN NOT help myself fancying the hell outta that little bastard. n___n

Zomg, so good to see that I'm not alone. n_n You have my full support and understanding! Especially as to Christopher Lee, he was the beginning of my Saruman obsession, which never really wore off ...

As for WHY it is that we like vintage meat n_________n *thinke think* I like the idea that they got life-experience, which is a trait that really makes me respect ppl. Respect is another aspect, I tend to get fascinated my ppl who intimidate me.

Oh and yep, Jason Isaacs is indeed magnificent, that is a fact and it's not up for discussion. n_n
