Ramblings of older men

Today, I finally found myself wondering about something I should've thought about so much earlier: What is it exactly that attracts me, and other perves like me, to older men? Is it truly an age-thing? Do we really like older men because they are older? Or is it because what they, what their age, represent? To me, I guess an older man represents maturity, wisdom, a certain at ease-ness with the world and all its neverending oddities. Something I have difficulty locating in any men my age. Calling them "men" is odd, even. I just call them boys. To me, anything under thirty is a boy.

Let's look at my record of old-guy fancying, shall we? Of all the men on that list, a few stand out: Alan Rickman (hung around for a year and a half, an absolute record), Christopher Lee (read his autobiography, even), Jason Isaacs (recurring occurance) and Willem Dafoe (mesmerizes me completely). The first two have a very commanding precense and very deep, velvety voices. Try finding that in any young man. Jason Isaacs just radiates sex to me, so I guess he's the sensual, sexually experienced part of this equation. Then we have Willem Dafoe, who I just feel I need to get to know better.
Summarised: Older men know how to exist beautifully, are seasoned and know how to fascinate.

I guess that's my reason for fancying them. If anyone has anything to say about this, or wants to debate about it, or just wants to tell me how much I've figured them out, talk to me! n___n

Just spitballing here.
