I just got back from having my cat Hannah put to sleep. She was really ill, and old, and hurting, and it was time. It still hurts, though. Peter is devastated.

My cat, Hannah, had infection in both ears, so I took her to the vet for that and got drops that I had to put in her ears twice a day. I guess she was clawing at her ears, because first, she got an abscess behind her left ear. I discovered that when I put the drops in and massaged the base of her ear and it burst and I wound up with a handful of ( Read more... )

So, I've acquired a new cat. She's a skin and bones stray that's been hanging around. I couldn't not take her in. Hopefully, she'll fill out, and be healthy. I gave her a bath this morning, and in cleaning up the mats on her back, I found two puncture wounds. Looks like a dog bit her.
