Weird realization
I've been watching MASH in reruns since grade school. I was watching some fav episodes tonight. While watching the first episode with BJ it wqas revealed he's 28 when he joins the show.
As I sat there I went, "Wait if he's 28, Hawkeye is probably around the same age maybe a bit older"
Then I realized "Oh my god I'm almost the same age as them"
I never thought of the cast of MASH being anything other than older then me, its weird to suddenly realize your the same age as your favourite characters when you liked something as a kid...if that makes any sense.
I still wish I was Hawkeye, or Hawkeye like. He's still one of my favourite fictional characters
Interesting side note- Alan Alda was 36 when he started the show in 72 and Mike Ferral was 36 when he joined the show in 75. Kinda neat fact
