Happy Happy!
The midnight hour approaches and I am looking forward to a quiet night in with my sweetie after a long (and cold!) week. We've both been so tired lately that we might not even make it to the new day and the new year.
The holidays in general have been good. I worked hours and sites all over the place. Making my pay look a bit better than it has in weeks. Also good for this upcoming wedding business. Had a few hours Christmas evening with my parents and sister having a lovely dinner and opening presents. And brought the ham bone home and made some fairly amazing soup with it.
Hopefully will have some time tomorrow to put the decorations away and consult the list of Things To Do for February's shindig.
I know one awesome item from the list is in my possession. Our pal that is a master tailor and corset maker gifted me with the finished waist cincher I am going to wear. And it is such a thing of beauty. It was the capper on an incredible evening where we were treated to an amazing meal and drinks at the Raven and Rose in Portland.
