it sounds like you need to take a few days away from kansas city...
getting away from the daily grind makes life seem a little more refreshing...
at least i've found it to be that way.

let me know if you decide to come to chicago! it's pretty cheap to fly or take the train (check out southwest airlines, that's who i always fly between kc and chicago).

I love getting away. I thought going alone would be so perfect but then I might be lonely when I want a nice dinner or something. I still think going alone and having a glass of Pinot Noir alone and reading a book at a nice cafe would be wonderful. I love sitting and watching people. If I do end up coming to Chicago, I will definitely inform you prior to my departure!

stupid school is messing up everything! i'd love to take a day-trip to st. louis on your birthday! i wish my mom wasn't such a craz, or else we could go to chicago. i really miss you and we need to get together as soon as i don't have stupid shit to do! :(

maybe since it's stl she'd let me go overnight. dalt would be mad at me if i lied. he thought it was stupid what happened with the columbia thing, he thought it was really unsafe. which i could agree with, but everything went fine. i don't know if i have money for hotels though, so hmm. ugh. and what if i have homework! ugh!
