I left my car sit for a day. It developed a spider web. That spider was quite persevering, when the car started moving again. I think the web survive until I went on the freeway; and I think the spider hid behind the side view mirror until the car came to rest again.
I am making a tank of gas go a good long way, right now. This is a good thing, because the new GF beer that I found which I *love*, is $4.99 a pint. It is Green's belgian-style ale. Discovery is the one which is at Chi-Lake.
I over-estimated the degree to which the new kitty is cat-box trained. That means that she cannot go into the nice cool basement for a while. She is a love, however. Just don't pay close attention to the claws which are out at 5:30 am when she decides it's time to play! My list says that I need to buy cat treats for the nail clipping, and a water pistol....for other stuff.
I am finally getting to that second coat of paint on the last bits of stairway. I edged them today, and will roll them early Saturday, hopefully. I also re-glazed a some of the window over the front stairs. This would be a new experience for me. Can't bring myself to pry off glazing which looks perfectly good, for the opportunity to take the glass out and start from scratch.
Need to talk to the friendly neighborhood contractor about whether he is actually thinking of helping me with my windows since the measurements were taken many weeks ago.
Irish Fair is coming up! Don't let the fact that it is free, fool you. There are some really class acts playing. In Milwaukee, where they are used to having world-class acts, they thought that Fuscia was the best that last year had to offer. This will be their third year here. Catch the vocalist/drummer/dancer; Martín. Let us not forget that the Tannahill Weavers will be here, and Flogging Mollies. Gerard Butler will be here again. He was quitepopular last year. *mwahahahah!* There will be special classes and ceili next Thursday.
Poison Ivy is beaten.
It's dry out, despite the bit of rain we got today.
It would be nice to hear from the progeny.
