Well, after a slew of girly books, what do I pick up? The most manly book ever. Talk about testosterone galore. This was my first experience with Chuck Palahniuk and I'm still not sure what I think of him. While the story was very interesting and twisty-turny (um, just pretend that's a word, ok?) I think it was ruined for me because I saw the movie first (and I loved it). The revelations at the end just didn't have the impact I imagined they would if I came into the book totally clueless.
