"No Longer Human" by Osamu Dazai

This was surprisingly an easy read, despite being rather a depressing subject. The lead character is pretty pathetic at times, but it was hard sympathizing with him. He wasn't very likable for starters, but then... the culture he was living in could explain that. I rather liked this book though, I can't exactly understand why. Maybe it's because I like Dazai's style... enough to want to read his earlier book "The Setting Sun", anyway.
