“Thank you for your hard work.” Said the producer after the work for that day was finished. It was a long day because it is a holiday session for Christmas so Arashi are busier for their upcoming projects and for the promotional video that they will release after the Christmas also. The five boys decided to work harder to be able to rest a little bit in the holidays, just like normal people do. The calling 'Normal people' sounds weird for the very famous Japan pop idol group. They are famous among a lot of people from different rang of age, from teens to adults. Even I heard there are kids that like their songs.
“Thank you also.” Aiba Masaki bowed to the producer, others following his example.
They are Arashi, the super idols that took the hearts of many ladies and even some men. Aiba Masaki was the mood maker of the group. He helped a lot in calming down any stressful situation during the filming. He has a boyfriend, yes, he was not only a gay but a bisexual. Like a lot of ladies his heart sang his love melody for his group mate, Sakurai Sho. Sho was older than Aiba by only eleven months. He was the ‘mother’ for the group, he took care of all of them. Now let’s not forget about the ‘father’ of the group, Ohno Satoshi. He is the older one among them. He seriously cares about all of the group members; he could worried as a real father. The whole group was just lovely.
The youngest two members were Ninomiya Kazunari and Matsumoto Jun. Ninomiya is usually called 'Nino', he likes to play around with his group mates just like he plays with the boss in his Wii or Ds console. He likes to do pranks a lot.
Matsumoto is the youngest one among the five of them. He is famous with girls, due to his acting as Domyouji in Hana Yori Dango, so they call him the fabulous Jun-sama. He is the DoS type of people.
Every group member went with their own manager to drive them to their home. It was a Christmas Eve already and they were working on this day also. It wasn't only the Christmas Eve but a special day for one group member. It was Aiba Masaki's birthday. Aiba was really excited about his birthday but unusually this year no one from the group said a words to him about his birthday and the day was almost over already. Aiba was living with his lover Sakurai Sho in the same apartment, they said to the media and to their boss that it will be easier for them to live together. Sho had a big apartment and Aiba is from Chiba so instead of renting another apartment they would share one. But the true reason behind this is that they were a lovely-dovey couple without anyone knowing about it from the outside, just the five of them.
Although Aiba was excited, he is feeling disappointed with every passing minute without any words from the members, not even from his own lover.
“Ah.” He sighed for the nth time today already.
“What is it Masaki-kun?” Sho asked while turning his face to look at his eyes. He wanted to know what it was wrong.
“What what?” Aiba folded his arms in front of him while they were still seating in the car on the way to their own apartment.
“What is wrong? Why all the sighing?” Sho asked him again with more details.
“Nothing, Sho-chan.” The taller one sang it and then looked to the windows, it was snowing now. Everything was white and had the smell of the wonderful snow. He just loved this season. Well, every season has its own beauty but this season is special, since it colors the nature in pure white.
Aiba liked the snow a lot. He could play with it like a little boy; throw it around him and even when it fell again on him. He just loved it. While he was thinking about the snow the driver opened the door for him to tell him that they were in front of their apartment already.
Aiba got out of the car and walked hastily to the apartment without waiting for his lover. He entered the apartment and made sure to show the calendar more, so that Sho would remember that it was his birthday today before the day ended already. It was almost ten in the evening already.
Sho was confused by his lover. “Why was he acting like this? What is wrong with him?” He asked himself before smiling to the driver and went up to his apartment also.
“Masaki honey, where are you?” The taller idol was not around the living room. Sho went to their bedroom to see if Masaki was there or not and there he found him. “Here you are.” He sat near him on the bed and hugged him. “So now tell me what is wrong with you today? You must be happy we have some holidays and we could go on dates.” He kissed the other man’s forehead.
“But... Sho-chan... I can't say what is wrong.” Aiba breathed it out.
“Why?” Sho asked him while looking at his face, surprised. “I thought you will share your problems with me.”
“Yes, but not this one because it is your mistake.” Aiba said while he slightly pushed Sho away.
“Eh, something I did wrong?” Sho pretended to think a little. “I am sorry but I can't remember what I did.”
“Fine, Sho-chan.” Aiba pouted and walked to the bathroom while Sho went to the kitchen to drink a little water and check on something. When he heard the bathroom door opened again, he rushed to their bedroom again.
“Today is Christmas Eve and I want to sleep early.” He took out a red pajama and went to the bathroom fast. His Masaki didn't even manage to open his mouth from the shock.
“He totally forgot about me.” He sniffed a little bit and took out his pajama also to change in their bedroom.
After ten minutes Sho came out and lay between their bed sheet and the warm cover. “Come and lay with me Masaki, I don't want Santa to see us awake when he will give us our gifts.” Sho said and patted the bed sheets.
“But Santa is not real.” He sighed and walked slowly to the bed. He threw his tired body on the sheets but left a little space between him and his boyfriend.
“Don't want to hug me?” Sho waited for Masaki to get closer.
“Not tonight Sho-chan.” Aiba closed his eyes tightly and slept. Sho pretended that he was sleeping until he made sure that Masaki was fully asleep. It didn't take a lot of time since they were tired from the whole day's filming and moving around.
“Sorry baby.” Sho planted a kind, careful kiss on his lover’s forehead before he got off the bed and sneaked out to their guestroom. He opened the door carefully and there were six pair of eyes looking at him.
“Is he sleeping?” Nino asked.
“Yes, like an angel.” Sho smiled while looking at the other three from Arashi.
Yes, Sho didn't forget about his precious person’s birthday. He just wanted to give him a little surprise party. It was mean to do this to the younger man but he will be happy about it at the end.
“Where is my costume?” Sho looked around him to search for his Santa costume.
“I got you a little stuffed stomach since you are so thin.” Jun said while taking out the stuffed thing that he was talking about.
“Okay, thank you guy a lot. Could you help me take out the cake and wait at the living room until I wake up Masaki?” Sho asked while he put on the red hat, the white hair and the long bead.
“Sure, I hope you don't give Masaki a heart attack wearing something like this in the middle of the night.” Arashi's leader said.
“Don't worry I will be kind.” Sho winked and walked out to their bedroom. He got inside it and went to the side where Aiba was sleeping. He touched his cheeks softly and whispered. “Masaki, Baby wake up... Santa Sho is here.”
“Umm...” The sleepy idol muttered some words that humans can’t understand. “Who? Where I am?” He started to rub his eyes. “Sho-chan.” He turned to the side where his lover was sleeping and didn't find him, his mind awake immediately. “Sho-chan? Where are you?” He rubbed his eyes again while calling Sho with loud voice.
“Sho is not here, Santa Sho is here.” Sho turned the light in the bedroom on and Aiba looked at his Sho wearing Santa clothes.
“What is this?” Aiba wondered. Slowly his brain cells woke up and he realized what was going on. “Are you Sho?” He looked at that Santa. “But dressed as Santa?” Aiba touched the stuffed tummy of Sho. “What is going on?” He wanted answers now.
“Just come with me.” The Santa grabbed Masaki's hand and leaded him to the living room.
“Surprise! Happy birthday.” The three Arashi members exclaimed to the sleepy Aiba. He was just standing there stunned; he didn’t know what to say. At that moment he could only cry. He thought his friends forgot about his birthday but they wanted to throw him a surprise party instead.
“Guys... What is this?” He was touched, some tears still falling down his cheek.
“Ahh... don't cry now crybaby.” Nino poked him and laughed.
“Thank you really.” Aiba said while looking around him and saw what his friends got him. There was a cake and a red bag. “What is this?” The red bag got his attention that is why he pointed to it and asked.
“It is my gift to you.” Sho rushed to the bag. He opened it and took out a cute stuffed animal, it was a brown dog. “Here you go, you wanted a real dog but since here, in our apartment, animals aren’t allowed, I got you this cute stuffed one.” He handed the dog to his lover.
“Oh my god, it is so cute! Thank you Sho!!” He was really happy about it. “I will name him Sho-kun.” The taller guy decided.
“Ehh, no I don't want that.” Sho complained.
“I have decided already.” Aiba went and planted a kiss on Sho's pouting lips that made him forget about the dog’s name.
