I finally have a freaking World History Textbook. It took them long enough.

Mom sent an email last night to my teacher along with a CC to my guidance counselor. My guidance counselor then got my mom in touch with the bookkeeper (vai email). My mom emails the bookkeeper who then decides to call my mom AFTER school is over.

The bookkeeper is pretty darn lucky that on Wednesdays I chill is Mrs. H's room before going to Jazz band instead of just going straight their. They paged me over the intercom AFTER school to go to the library and if I had been in the band room I never would have heard it.

The moment I walked into he library (for some reason it wasn't locked) the bookkeeper goes, "Are you (insert my name)".

"Yes," I replied

"Do you have your World History textbook?"

I'm thinking, 'If I had my textbook then Mom wouldn't have sent an email stupid.' but I reply with, "No"

"Well you were sent a textbook yesterday."

I'm thinking just freaking great they manged to loose my textbook. I tell her, "I never got it."

Then she huffs like its a big freaking inconvenience to her and responds with, "I'll have to go to the book keeping room to get you a textbook."

She leaves the library and I'm stuck wondering why the hell she just doesn't work form the bookkeeping room. It got five computers, a counter, and not to mention all the freaking textbooks.

She comes back and then tells me, "Well here's a textbook, but I don't know what hour your textbook was deliever yesterday so I want you to go ask ALL your teachers if they have a textbook for you tomorrow. If you end up with two then I guess you can just return one."

As I'm leaving the stupid library I'm thinking, no way in hell I'm going to do that. It was their responsibility to get the textbook to me and since she doesn't even do anything she should have plently of time to track the stupid book down. Plus I'm still angry about the book incident in 7th/8th grade (that's a story for another time).

Here's the kicker when my mom was talking to the bookkeeper the bookkeeper told her that the STUDENTS who deliver the books are supposed to give them to the student and no one else. She also mentions that they have been in the new school building for fours years now, and she thinks that they just might deliver the whole class's book to the classroom at once necxt year.( I thinks she only said that because Mom mentioned in in the email she sent)

rant, school
