The entire film is up on youtube and it is fabulous. Basically a spoof of horror B-movies, not unlike Airplane!
I mostly remember
the song from the 80s cartoon. And I find the credits amusing. Special appearance by the Royal Shakespearean Tomatoes, they say. I saw no Shakespearean tomatoes.
Also, I find it terribly amusing that the day is saved by the 1970s equivalent of Justin Beiber.

I watch some of the guys on The Nostalgia Critic's site. I tend to follow certain series more than the individuals. Still, every so often something with an interesting title pops up and I watch it.
Which is how I stumbled across this gem: a review of
David Bowie's first movie sung to David Bowie songs.
It's part of a series of reviews on artsy, pretentious films. I ended up marathoning them all--and the sad part was, I had seen or was familiar with at least a third of the films. Now I am on to his archives on blip.tv

One of the few shows I watch every week now that we're in the long summer of no Who: Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, of Pirate Task Force Gokaiger (though I suppose most people call sentai "sentai," rather than "task force,"--or simply translate it as "power rangers"). I'm sure I've spoken of this before. 35th anniversary special, the Gokiagers can transform into the previous Sentai teams, and, of course--the song that teaches us the history of our Super Sentai heroes.
It's another addition to my geeky knowledge.
Though, if you prefer the Power Rangers side of things, there's also the
History of Power Rangers video series...
