This is me Talion. I just thought I'd check up on your LJ. Let me bring you up on reality if you seem to have lost yourself in a fantasy. Trust me...life is not the happy ending you long for it to be. Life is rough...tosses you around like a rag doll..and will look down at you and laugh while it kicks your ass. While you lie there in a mass of confusion from what has happened, it gives you time to reflect. As much as you long for something, as much as you find that it is within your grasp, yet seems to slip from your fingertips. Each time you feel the need to hold onto something that gives you a hold onto that reality, you have to know that you're not alone in this confusion. Even if you must stay at a distance because you are scared of the consequences that may arise from opening your feelings, at least relish in the fact that you are feeling what you're feeling. Some people would kill to even feel what you're feeling now, so see it not as a bane but as a hope for something better. I do wish that something will happen that will give you a revelation and allow you to see that what you want is what the one you care for wants as well, but things aren't always that simple. Sometimes, it takes a strong hand to tip the cup and show what is contained inside.

As I drift along an endless dream,
Within a world of dark twilight,
A radiance shines out from the distance,
And I yearn for that last bit of hope,
Yet as I my fingers extend towards the light,
I feel a warmth against my fingertips.
Each breath I take seems to lift me.
I then wake from that world of wonder,
My eyes slowly open in the quiet night,
And I watch,
As my fingers caress your beautiful face.
