Good Kitty
So, my kitty Pepper has a vet appointment today. She dislikes them so much that they have kindly requested we give her a tranquilizer pill. The pill doesn't make her sleep, but it does make her calm. So, two hours before her appointment, I molded a moist cat food treat around her pill, as this is how she usually takes medicine. I gave her the treat, but she bit it in half, and the pill fell out.
So I think to myself, "I'll have to put it into another treat and hope she eats it.
Pepper finishes all the treat pieces, and notices the little pink pill. She stares at it for a few moments.
And then she eats it.
Just like that, with no treat around it at all, just a bad tasting little pink pill. And down it went.
I decided that it was so awesome she deserved more treats, so I gave her 10 or so.
Excellent kitty.
