Happy Birthday to Me!
I'm bored and I'm at my father's work and all I really want to do is go back to my parent's apartment and eat my ice cream cake. But I shall write while I am waiting for my father to finish.
My birthday was really, really boring. Dad left early to go to work and stayed there all day. My mother and my sister left for a long time to go shop for my presents which they had not bought for me yet, the stinkers. So I spent most of the day alone and bored. I had the new puppy and my kitty sleeping on me all day while I watched boring television.
Later everything got better though. My family went out to eat at Red Lobster and I ate a ton of shrimp stuff and opened my presents. I got Nightmare Before Xmas PJs and a top, the soundtracks to Narnia and Serenity, and a $50 gift card to Borders. Pretty good loot if you ask me. Daniel and Lindsay called me and we had good conversations, and Sam and I have been chatting over IM while I am here at work. (My parents have no internet in their apartment, so hard to survive.) A bunch of people wrote comments on my facebook or sent me an e-mail about my birthday. A much better response than last year but for those of you who forgot, you can feel guilty now. =)
Christmas loot was good, too. I got lots of clothes and a digital camera. Yay camera! I have wanted one for YEARS and finally got one so I am very happy. Good parents, have a cabbage.
