I wish I could do that for you but unfortunately in this verse we have the cautious and low self-esteem Luke rather than the in control one who goes after what he wants. But, and there is always a but Luke will find himself being pulled in closer and eventually will be more spontaneous...you just need to wait a bit;-)

Luke is certainly getting to Reid because Reid is still dwelling on Luke's comments about the family waiting area. I bet REid surprised himself with his comments about his mother's death in the elevator. I'm not sure what comes next but I would love to hear Reid chastising himself for his big mouth.

This is the time when I can have fun with these two as the real attraction starts for both of them and they find themselves thinking about one another more than they're ready to admit...and so it begins:-) Yeah we know Reid is not big on sharing and it was that moment of weakness and the hypnotic presence of Luke Snyder that had him spilling out something he never would usually.

Hooray they are getting to know each other. I love the play full banter.

Great to see them stuck in an elevator. It must mean something that Reid is sharing so much information with Luke.

Maybe next time Luke can share some more information about himself.

They are into each other already. Maybe this day made them both more currious about the other.

I know finally I'm having them speak to one another...it took a little longer than I expected:-) It was an opportunity for Luke and Reid to share something about one another and Luke's new designs and offer to pay for them give Reid a different view of the spoiled brat. Reid talking about is mom gives Luke a look into the human side of Reid.

I love the build-up of the relationship and presenting them like this and I'm happy that you're enjoying it too.

Oh, I like this! That Reid shared a very personal memory with Luke says a lot.
The slow build is nice, I love heated gazes and lingering looks ;-).

Thank you, sometimes you find as you write that you want to hurry things along but it just doesn't work and you have to let the story take it's course...we've finally reached the point of them interacting more and learning little tidbits about one another. It's a start at least;-)

Oh my, do you think the sight of Reid’s ass might have put Luke in a trance as he exited the hospital? Great chapter and BTW when are we going to find out who or what Baxter is?

Oh my dear this is just the beginning of Luke's fascination with Reid's derriere, "ass" that is and maybe he will eventually get it;-) I'm enjoying the build up that's being created and I just wrote the chapter Baxter arrives in, 19 so just a few more to go and I will call him a "catalyst" of some type for Luke and Reid, but I don't want to spoil it for you:-))
