Almost too busy for words!

Yes, yes, I know I've been remiss un my updating. So sue me. No, don't, but here's the big general update.

School is going pretty well. 8th period has its up days and its down days, but the rest of my classes are wonderful. I've settled into a nice routine there and I've been getting to know the other teachers. I really love it there, and I can really see myself spending time at that school. My first formal observation is Wednesday, so here's to hoping that goes well. There's so much going on there but I'm so overwhelmed that I am finding it hard to put it into words - but overall, it's a really positive experience.

The grad school process is continuing. I have to photocopy my music and get it to Matt Weissman - he's agreed to accompany me for the audition cd. I also have to get cracking on the third paper that I have to hand in. Rather, I need to go back and edit it. Then everything I need will just about be completed.

Things with Greg are wonderful. We've been spending so much time together, and last night, we went out to a really nice dinner before meeting up with Rachel and Mike at Muls. We're talking about major issues, too - like how we would handle religion with kids and things like that. That's really the one issue we need to work out - the whole jewish/catholic thing. And slowly but surely, we are getting there. It's scary and exciting at the same time, but it needs to be done. It's funny how in so many situations, we're not using the words "if" or "maybe" or "hypothetically." We're just saying it as though it's GOING to happen...wow.

Okay - I've finished my interim comments for three of my classes - two more to go!
