Despite the fact that every Saint-to-be had a master who was in charge of their training, it was pretty common for the older apprentices to test the younger ones, to push them to the limit to see how much of themselves they would be willing to sacrifice for their Goddess. Although most of these tests were focused on fighting skills or level of cosmo, it is said that some of them were quite creative.

Shaina’s figure had long disappeared from sight, straight into the deep to lend the only thing that the Sanctuary could offer at that moment. Aiolia shook his head, deeming the aid as insufficient, and his mind struggled to appease the anger building inside him, the impotence, the inability to understand. If only one of them went to Poseidon’s realm the crisis would be over and Athena would be saved.
He fumed. Becoming a rebel for leaving the Sanctuary to help Athena and the Bronze Saints... it was absurd! “And why would I mind if I’m labeled as such, anyway,” he said to himself, uncaring to Mu’s warning and to what the other Gold Saints had to say. It was in that moment when his brother’s cosmo felt as strong as it had been when he was alive, the brightness coming from the Sagittarius Temple clearing his doubts.
“You’ll always do what’s right, Aiolos,” he thought with pride as he saw the Gold Cloth fly to where the Goddess was.
