That pic started as a mini-doodle (which is why her face was out of the page....XD *lol*), just to draw Saori's chest with her laying down. I wasn't going to scan it, but it was on the same page than another pic, and I ended up scanning it too. CG tempted me, and by the time I was done coloring her skin, hair and clothes, the final idea slammed into me (*pictures the Muse hitting me in the head with a shovel, and the idea sprouting* XD *lol*), and I realized that her face hidden by the pic added a nice even though it was by accident sentimental touch. I then added tears to her face, and started messing around with the background to have her laying on the grass with the flowers etc. :3
The idea of Athena favoring the Gemini twins is one that's been bouncing around in my head for quite a while. :D The most obvious example of it is the fact that as a baby, she saved Kanon from drowing in Sounion Cape...despite the fact that at the same age, possibly in the very same time, Aiolos died to save her, and she didn't move a finger to help him. (If you check the canon timeline, Aiolos's death and Kanon's 10 days of being rescued every day & in every tide by her happened...possibly on the same week or two. XD I like her a lot, so I prefer to think that she was focusing her cosmo on saving Kanon, and that because of that she couldn't save Aiolos. Or maybe he was meant to die so that destiny would nfold correctly, because she wasn't supposed to stay in Sanctuary at the beginning or something. I don't think she let Aiolos die because she didn't care or anything, but Kanon sure seemed to have priority! XD *understands and would do the same* ^_^; *lol*)
