(no subject)
Being back at school feels better, more natural, than being at home. Just walking around Morningside Heights made me happier than I felt during 4 weeks at home; maybe the home-happiness is a different thing altogether from the city-happiness and school-happiness, but something about this resonates more deeply with me.
Unfortunately, as I have just seen Cloverfield*, I am now half-convinced that a huge Monster Thing will attack my wonderful city and, like, stomp on me. Though it did not make it uptown! It stayed in midtown! Haha, serves them right! I have great amounts of respect for midtown, I promise.
*Were it not 2 AM I would totally write a coherent review. Probably.
