This morning I had my first (and probably last) physical therapy appointment. It's either I went to bad office or something, but I just didn't like it and I feel that 25 bucks an appointment 3 times a week is a lot of money. (25 bucks is my co-pay might I add) I mean the appointment went alright, but it was 2 hours long. it went from 9 am until 11 am, causing me to be late for my job training. Not just that, but I didn't like the traction table they used on me. It was weird. I think I'm going to go back to seeing my chiropractor. She was awesome and actually made my back feel better.
As for job training, that went by pretty awesomely. I mean it wasn't too bad. The work looks pretty easy and I like the sort of thing it involves. I will be handling customer service calls for the State of Michigan's state parks. So yeah if you go camping there and you need to adjust things or cancel something, you just might get me for a reservation specialist. (that's the title of the position haha) I'm being trained with two other guys... they're both college students from the area who do go to school out of the area and here's the kicker we're all into journalism/communications stuff. I don't feel too bad about leaving in late August. I mean they'll do the same haha. I am looking forward to the job though. I mean it just sounds different than most of the stuff I've done. the best part of the day aside from learning some new stuff was that my mom took me out for lunch. Quiznos = awesomeness.
Anyway, Last night, I told Parris about my new job. He thought it's funny how I'm going to handle calls about the state parks in his home state. Speaking of him, last night, we watched A History of Violence together. It was a pretty great film. It really made me think about a lot of things. Not sure when we're going to hang out again. Maybe Sunday or something.
Also last night, I talked to Spam on the phone. He had just seen the smashing pumpkins at the 9:30 club. It's always nice talking to him. He told me about this slurpee 7/11 has right now for the Simpson's Movie. I tried it out this morning (yes for breakfast) and holy crap it's the awesome. It's blue and it tastes like Vanilla cream soda.
As for the rest of my Wednesday evening as in Tonight, I went for a walk before dinner. I walked past Dante's and ran into some cool looking kids. Turns out, those kids had bands who were playing at the bar. One band was from Pittsburgh (Bridgley Moore) and the other (Watson Park) is from Lexington, Kentucky. They were really cool and nice. After talking to them, I rushed home and told my sister about the show. We had dinner quickly and then went to the bar to see the bands play. We missed most of Watson Park's set but the one song I did see it was impressive. As for Bridgley Moore, they were awesome. To put it shortly, girl-fronted band and she plays keyboards (very awesome at that might I add) and writes the songs. She has a cool voice too. Her name is Becky btw. Their sound reminded me of motion city soundtrack a little.
After the show was over, I started talking to Becky and we hung out. I somehow ended up going with both bands to Walmart. My sister showed them how to get there haha. When we all got back to Frostburg, Becky came over and used our shower. I figured it was the least we could do for the poor girl since her and her band have been on tour and they're staying somewhere that just has hot water (sounds rather ouchy...lol). She was pretty awesome and I think I've made a new friend. Maybe someday we can write songs or something!
Please check out the bands.... they're currently on tour.

www.myspace.com/watsonpark As for tomorrow, I have training/work from 8 am to 4:30 pm. I know I'm up pretty late. I just need to get some sleep and a shower and to pack my lunch haha. Tomorrow morning, I know that I'm going to be listening in on some phone calls and taking notes on how people work with the clients. It shall be interesting. I'm not sure what I'm going to do tomorrow night though.
As for Friday, I'm going to DC with my mom for her Doctor's appointment and I'm going to make a stop at UMD to straighten some things out for the fall. I still need to register for classes. blah. Since I am missing out on the rest of training that's on Friday, I have to come in on Saturday to make the time up, which I don't mind. It should be kinda fun. Besides, Parris works on Saturdays so atleast I'll be keeping myself busy and well, I can be like "I worked today..."
One thing I am hoping for the weekend is that my I get more films in the mail from netflix. I'm suppose to get In the Name of the Father, My Beautiful Laundrette, and The Boxer. Let's just say I'm having myself a Daniel Day-Lewis festival!
Now, it's time for bed. Sleep is good for once!
ps- While I was at the show at Dante's. I was talking to the owner Sinead. She's really cool. Anyway, we though up of some pretty rad ideas like having a costume party at the bar or doing an 80s night or even Pub Trivia stuff. We shall see what cool opportunities will happen. (Maybe I'll be a dj for a party!)
pps- Today, July 11th marks the 25th anniversary of my parents getting married. I just like to congradulate my mother and father for sticking together for so long. Hard to believe my parents were married on July 11, 1982.
