Title: (056) Breakfast
word count ~ 240
who: the 3 Judges (with thanks to sagakure, with whom I had a conversation about how specters may slowly get to realize what they are.)
Disclaimer: Kurumada sat one day and somehow thought all this up, Toei buys, sells and in general makes money. I write sidelines, without permission, endorsement and no monetary gain at all. But it's a helluva of fun.

056- Breakfast

- Damn you, is this what you call an English breakfast?

Rhadamanthys stood up and sent the tray flying in a fit of anger, stomping more than walking out of Minos’ dinning room. The glasses crashed against the wall and broke in a rain of tiny pieces onto the floor, just one more proof of how powerful the Wyvern was.

Minos was at the door almost as it closed, ready to show this newcomer that manners weren’t optional among the Judges of the Underworld, and especially not so when invited to his house. But as he wrapped his fingers around the handle, a command stopped him on his tracks.

- Wait.

Aiakos has never addressed the first judge like this before, and Minos’ knuckles tense on the door handle. Is everybody going to disrespect him today?

If the Judge of the Garuda was looking at Minos, he might had backed off and let him chase after Rhadamanthys unbothered. But he looks into his own coffee as if the eternal truth could be found there and so misses the impending rage of the other judge.

- Do you remember how hard it was, to accept things will never go back to the way they were? Isn’t there a tiny part of you that still screams now and then that you wish our Lord Hades had chosen someone else? Give the man some time, Minos. He’ll come to understand, in time.
