The Hamster Is Awake!

I know very little about cars. Strike that. I know pratically nothing about cars. I know that if you push one pedal, you go forward. If you press the other, you don't. Throw a third pedal into the mix and I'm completely lost. I can take apart a computer but it took me over an hour to get my bonnet up when my car started making funny noises.

I am SO glad I am not the only one on LJ who was worried about Hamster!

My husband says 'bad things always happen in threes.' First Steve Irwin, then Peter Brock, and Hamster was the third. Thank god he is doing well! Apparently the doctors have confirmed he still has some type of brain damage, but hopefully it's something he'll just need some therapy for and will be back to himself in no time. Top Gear wouldn't be the same without him!!
(Btw, I loved that 'Toyboata' episode. Have you seen the one where the three of them went caravaning? Hilarious! The Winter Olympics special is great too. I love Hamsters quote: 'We are on the cutting edge of cocking about.')

I found the caravaning episode brought back too many dark memories of when my parents tried to drag me and my two brothers around the countryside. However, I was particularily pleased when the whole thing went down in flames. Oh, I loved that episode. And when they killed the old stig off? Classic.
