Until recently, the only spoon rest I owned was an extremely seasonal, if cute, Christmas teddy bear one. I've been wanting a nice, basic ceramic one for a long time. On our trip to New Hampshire at the end of January I purchased this one, which does a lovely job and pleases me with its lack of embellishment.

My new fridge arrived today. I had the delivery guys move my old one down to the basement, and then they brought the new one through the front door. This thing came with many many shelves and drawers and things. I haven't washed them all yet, but I did enough to make it usable before leaving for work this morning.
