After class today, walking through the Science and Engineering building, my eye was caught by the Latin titles on these bulletin boards. The right one, "Laeti Triumphantes" I assume was taken from the second line of Adeste Fideles (O Come, All Ye Faithful), which is translated to English as "Joyful and Triumphant." That makes sense in the context of celebrating senior theses being finished.

Now. As to the left side, I am puzzled... does anybody know if this is a quote from somewhere? As near as I can tell, they probably wanted to say something like "Healthy mind in healthy body" since the subject of the board is scholar-athletes. Although my Latin is extremely rusty and I had to resort to internet translators, I'm pretty certain what it actually says makes no sense at all. Oh well.
