These are the pineapple lace curtains I have hanging in my living room. The pineapple is a symbol of hospitality, and was used fairly often in craftsman-style furnishings. My house, built in 1928, dates from that era. It's not a real classic Craftsman home, but it has a few of the design elements. I think these curtains fit in well. I'm thinking about getting some shades to go behind them to improve privacy and soften the bright morning sunlight when the sleeper sofa is in use.
