To IJ Or Not To IJ?
I used to have a Greatest Journal to be a backup to this one if LJ ever went kaflooey, and also if I heard of any interesting communities over there that merited joining. Well, it turns out that Greatest Journal was the one that went kaflooey. So now, I'm considering getting an Insane Journal, but when I went to investigate the site, everything loaded ssssllllloooowwwww, even slower than LJ on its turtle-paced days.
So, is this slow-loading typical for IJ? Is there anything actually going on over there -- I saw some writing challenge communities, but do they actually get used?
