Day One

May 13, 2005 12:30

Well, i am hoping that this is a good idea. There are so many things that happen in a day that I would like to share with my family and friends, but forget about them before I talk to each one. So.... Here I will start this lovely little journal that I can write in stupid occurances and what-nots.

I am soooooo excited! I have not been home in a few months (since December sixth that is of 2004!), and here I will be going home for memorial day weekend. The time will not be able to pass quite fast enough, let me tell you!

I failed a test today. It was a 'fluff mod' called 3M. It's a twenty minute lesson, with a six question test. I took the pretest, and made a 93. I went through the lesson, and then took the test again. When I went to click on the "SCORE TEST" button, the computer froze for almost 4 minutes. I alerted the testing proctor, he muttered a cuss word under his breath, and just X'd out of the screen--- a few seconds later, the score "67" showed up. I spoke to my instructor about it--- I'm going the the Chief on Monday to let him know what happened--- I have an A average as it is... and I'm doing well enough to be in the "Distinguished Military Graduate" group, its the top five percent of the school--- however, no matter what your grade, you will be dropped if you fail one test! So... you can see how much a computer error has the capability to really screw me up!

The weather up here really is not TOOOOOO bad.... except that in the past two weeks, we have received hail, snow, tornado warnings, a hot humid day, and 320498230948234908 mile an hour wind every day. I really think someone should make up their mind up there!

Well, I have to run, now. My mentoring class has decided to go bowling for the afternoon at the lanes here on base, called "Parcheezi's".... pretty cheesy, huh.

Oh, here's a joke I just heard....

What does Snoop Dogg use an umbrella for?

Fo'Drizzle

love ya'll
